Why Foundation 63?
Foundation 63 is what happens when two Clinical Psychologists get creative with numbers and human rights.

All human rights are relevant when working with people. For us, two articles of the UN Convention Rights of the Child are behind our motivation for this enterprise:

Article 39: “Children who have experienced neglect, abuse, exploitation, torture or who are victims of war must receive special support to help them recover their health, dignity, self-respect and social life.”

Article 24: "The right of the child to the enjoyment of the highest attainable standard of health and to facilities for the treatment of illness and rehabilitation of health."

These principles form the foundation for our work, and brings us to 63.
We are here to champion these rights for unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors using psychological theory, evidence and practice.
